I got stuck in the elevator at work today. Yeah. Between the first and second floor, so it wasnt that bad, but it was annoying. Ugh. There's a half hour I'll never get back. Still, I guess it was nice just to have some time to myself. Even if I did have to sit on the dirty floor. I've been so preoccupied with work and school and stuff, that it was nice to have a mini break for a brief mortal minute, and just be able to relax.
They say, when you're alone, and life is making you lonely,or when you've got worries with all the noise and the hurry, you can always go to, downtown. But since I already work downtown those rules just dont apply to me. I needed a weekend vacation and I needed it fast. So as I sat there and waited for maintence to shut down the entire elevator and manually lower me down, I came up with a list of things to do this weekend.
Go to a concert. Who doesnt love going to a concert? Especially a reunion tour! You get to dress up, rock out to some great music with other fans and just have a grand ol' time. It's a great time to just release all your stress and let loose. And the best part of going to a concert? You can never be too drunk!
Take a trip. Whether it's a road trip or catching the redeye to another country, it's always nice to get away and explore new sights and sounds. You're always bound to have an adventure, and a great story or new friendship to go along with it.
I'd add more to the list, but I'm already late for my flight to L.A. for the concert tonight!
